She recognized the need for youth-focused risk-avoidance health education to guide adolescents in making the healthiest choices. Dr Nanci Coppola’s evidence-based Healthy RespectTM program was selected and after several years of working together, they formed the Caribbean Youth Partnership project to teach children and equip trusted adults on this issue.

Springing from the work of providing psycho-social and legal support for families, she realised the need for research, education, and advocacy. She attended Alliance Defending Freedom training in 2012. From 2011 to 2017, in collaboration with international experts she planned, co-hosted and supported five major regional conferences on strengthening the natural family, parents, children, faith, and fundamental freedoms. Rebekah would go on to organise and co-host numerous other family and human dignity forums in the region, including the ‘Our Children, Our Responsibility’ conference, a workshop on fundamental freedoms, and numerous other child safeguarding and family focused events.

is a wife of 26 years and mother to four children ages 15 to 23, for whom she served as primary educator during their homeschooled formative years. Rebekah obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of London in 1999, her Post-Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Business School in 2002, and her Legal Practice Course from the University of Staffordshire in 2005. She was called to the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago in 2006 and later trained in civil and family mediation.

In 2009, together with her husband, they founded The Elpis Centre. It was a pioneering organization that was dedicated to counselling and supporting pregnant and single mothers, as well as children and youth facing various crises, displacement, and abuse.

She currently works on projects with international organisations such as Global HAWC (Global Helping to Advance Women and Children) and attends civil society forums at the Organisation of American States, the United Nations, and the European Union. She is an advisor to the STOP demographic winter project and is working on several initiatives to promote human dignity and protect children, women and men in her region.
